Description

From the day we moved in we were immediately struck by what a wonderfully supportive street community we had joined – including street parties and a thriving street WhatsApp group. Want to borrow, swap or know anything – there is usually someone to help.

Having moved from the city, the house itself is a cosy and comfortable home which has been a joy to live in. We’re not overlooked at the front by anything but a church and it is very quiet. We also have a lovely garden where many a summer evening has been spent relaxing. There is always plenty of parking but we have found that the bus service is so good that a 5 min walk will get us to the bus stop for either Bristol or Bath. We have used it a lot when we prefer not to drive. Temple Meads is also within walking distance.

We have had a grandson since moving into this house and got married, so we have lots of wonderful memories.

Arnos Park is at the end of the street and there are lots of wonderful nature reserves on our doorstep – along with some lovely coffee shops and a smashing deli on Sandy Park Road. The Knowle is only a walk away for a Sunday lunch and BocaBar is a firm favourite but there are lots more options for socialising.

Whoever moves in next, we have no doubt that this will quickly become a peaceful haven, as it did for us and that this house will help you make even more wonderful memories

A superb finished 1930's terrace home, with open-plan living space, south-west facing private enclosed garden of around 100ft. The property is situated in a popular road in Brislington, Runswick Road minutes walk to Arnos Park.

The well presented property which flows so well with characterful features is a five minutes walk to the amenities of Sandy Park the main hub of the area with its array of eateries and boutiques. The transport links are excellent with the number X39/Number 1 & 2 buses running regularly to both Temple Meads train station (15 minutes walk) and Bristol city centre.

On the ground floor an entrance hall with ornate stained glass, a wide hallway, lounge with bay fronted window and feature fireplace with a log burner, double doors opening onto the Kitchen/dining room with island for hosting guests, modern fitted appliances, extended area with skylight, double glazed sliding patio doors opening onto the seating area which leads up to the long rear garden.

On the first floor there are two double bedrooms and a further large single bedroom, a bathroom suite and a wide landing with storage cupboards and the opportunity to develop into the loft space. The master bedroom has a double glazed bay window with views over St. Christopher Church.

The property benefits from a combi boiler heating system and double glazing throughout.

Brislington has a blend of green spaces with Arnos Park, Nightingale Valley, Victory Park and is a urban living with Sandy Park and nearby Paintworks, The Langton Court and Knowle pub. Holymead primary school has a good reputation so it creates an environment great for families and convenient with the transport links for working professionals.
