Description

The Property
It is almost impossible to describe the quality on display when you enter through your own private entrance into this magnificent maisonette. These properties do not come up for sale very often and you can see why - people hang onto them! At 900 sqft, there is plenty of 'elbow room' and the flat has a lovely balance of space and sense of proportion. There is a choice of main bedrooms - the converted loft with ensuite or the more traditional first floor double bedroom ensuite - a lovely decision to have to make! The balance of kitchen and reception area really works and there is easily enough room to have a dining area as well. For those who love fresh air and space to enjoy the sun, there is a sizable roof terrace at the rear of the building - there is even a standalone base for a BBQ.

The flat is located in a conservation area called the Sisters (due to the road names), within short walking distance of the river, Battersea Square, Battersea Park and the mainline station of Clapham Junction. It is in close proximity to some of south west London tops schools including Thomas' Battersea which is very near the end of the road.

Battersea has earned itself the reputation of being a great place to live as well as being a decent investment area with all the Northen Line / Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms regeneration projects coming to an end. It does not take long to walk North over the river to the Chelsea Embankment but better still Battersea Park and all its amenities and activities are not far away. For the commuter or those wishing to go to the West End / City, there are very good bus links locally as well as the option of walking to either Clapham Junction, or Battersea Park and Queenstown Road Stations.
