Description

"The Tudors North" is a link detached bungalow situated in the village of Fir Tree. The layout is generous - as is the outside space, and could be a fine place to downsize to and enjoy all the walks that the village has to offer. It is built with standard methods, heated by oil with a boiler and radiators and also features double glazing throughout. It has been well looked after by the clients who have occupied the property for nearly 25 years.

The accommodation comprises of a wide entrance hallway that provides access to all of the rooms - immediately to the left lies the master bedroom with a lovely dual aspect and fitted furniture. The two other bedrooms also feature fitted wardrobes. The bathroom is made up of a suite in cream with bath, sink, toilet and separate shower cubicle. The kitchen is located to the rear and enjoys fine views over the garden. It features a number of storage units in wood with worktops and some integrated appliances.
The living room/dining room stretches from the front to the back of the property and features a stone fire surround with an electric fire. Sliding patio doors provide access to the conservatory at the back.
Outside there is a room for the oil tank, a utility area and a single garage.
The gardens at the property are well established - at the front there is a lawned area with some mature shrubs, whilst the same is predominantly true in the rear but it is edged with leylandii bushes for privacy and a beautiful wisteria providing an abundance of colour in season. There is a paved area at the rear providing a place for entertaining and eating in the warmer months.

At the front of the property there is ample parking on the driveway leading to the garage as well as a area of hard standing where our clients have previously kept their motorhome

Fir tree is a village located on the A68 highway which connects Corbridge and Darlington. As such, the village is a great place to live for anyone working in any of the regions towns. The village itself has a couple of nice pubs as well as convenience sized supermarket at the nearby garage. Crook town is merely a few minutes’ drive away where a good selection of shops can be found. Weardale and its Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is also easy to reach by car and this is great place for walks and outdoor activities.
