Behind the house there are lawns, a terrace and ponds which may have formed part of the original moat.

Mulberry and fruit trees. Towards the back of the garden there is a further outbuilding, recently constructed, which, with relevant consents and some expenditure, could be converted into an office. There is also an aviary. Beyond the more formal gardens there is a fenced meadow with far reaching views.
