Description

This sea-facing, south-facing apartment is set on the second floor of the iconic Northumberland Court. We enter through the front door of the apartment into the entrance hall, with engineered oak flooring underfoot. Here, we find five doors leading to the remaining five rooms.

Turning left into the Principal bedroom, we find a beautiful, coved ceiling with a ceiling rose, and a large sash window overlooking Wyndham Street. There is plenty of space for a double bed with bedside cabinets either side and other furniture. There is also potential for a bespoke wardrobe that will allow further storage. New carpet runs underfoot and there is a radiator underneath the sash window. The Principal bedroom comes with a recently refurbished en suite that is part-tiled and equipped with a walk-in shower cubicle and a Mira shower, a low-level W.C. and a pedestal wash-handbasin.

Our next stop is the kitchen, featuring a unique stone worktop. Importantly, the kitchen is home to a brand-new Worcester Bosch boiler. The large sash window overlooking Wyndham Street allows light into the room equipped with an induction hob and oven that are both new, an integrated fridge, and an integrated dishwasher. There is plumbing in place for a washing machine.

The next room is the family bath. It is fully tiled and comes with a large tub with a Mira shower over. The bathroom also features a wall-mounted wash-handbasin, a low-level W.C., a wall-mounted towel heater and an obscured sash window allowing privacy and good for ventilation at the same time.

Walking into the second bedroom, we are immediately drawn to the large south-facing sash window offering outstanding direct sea views. There is a radiator underneath the window and new carpet underfoot. We also have a dado rail, coving, and certainly more than enough space for a double bed, a wardrobe and further furniture.

The next room is the lounge. Here, we find two large south-facing sash windows with far-reaching sea views. One can see the iconic Brighton Palace Pier from here and all the way over to Worthing to the right, and the Marina to the left. There is a radiator underneath each window, as well as coving and a dado rail like in the other rooms. We also find ornate wooden fire surrounds, a further radiator and space by the window for a table and chairs. The engineered oak flooring runs underfoot.

The last door we enter leads to the hallway cupboard. This is the perfect space for coats storage during the winter and keeping everyday items out of sight. The cupboard also has a radiator, a consumer unit, and further freezer storage.

Northumberland Court sits on the Brighton Marine Parade seafront, seconds from Kemptown Village and with very easy access into the city centre as well as the main line train station. This beautiful, listed building is Brighton through and through, offering stunning sea views all year round.
