Owner’s comment:

Built in 1830, this former Fisherman's terraced cottage, has been a cosy, welcome, home from home. The sea is a very short walk away - the White Hart pub an even shorter one! It has been a welcoming watering hole on numerous occasions. A considerable array of quality eateries are located up and down the high street - if you like seafood you will love Aldeburgh. If you wish to stretch your legs a bit further, there are numerous scenic walks to enjoy, a staple of ours being a stroll up to Thorpeness for lunch and then home for tea. Other highlights worth mentioning include: - watching some great plays and enjoying quality live music at the theatre, Bandstand on the beach during Festival week, the Brudenell fireworks at New Year and of course, the Carnival. But for us, top of the list is sitting on our front patio on a warm Summer's late afternoon, drink in hand, chatting and watching the world go by.
