HISTORY This charming Grade II listed cottage in Old Buckenham, once the granary for the adjacent windmill, is steeped in rich history. The windmill, constructed in approx. 1818 has been said to have the largest circumference in Britain, originally featured 8 common sails, though now sports 4 patent sails. It once housed five pairs of millstones, while the granary itself operated with four pairs, initially driven by steam and later by an oil engine, playing a crucial role in the area's milling history.

DIRECTIONS From Attleborough Road, B1077 running through the centre of the beautiful Old Buckenham Green, turn right onto Green Lane as the round bears left. Continue on Green Lane as the road becomes Mill Road, where the property can be found on the left-hand side shortly before reaching the car park for the windmill.
