DESCRIPTION

Beyond he parking area is the stream and waterfall, with bridge from he drive to the main gardens. The stream is bunded by retaining walls, and provides a lovely water feature particularly against the backdrop of the waterfall. The gardens comprise a wide lawn which is sheltered by mature trees & hedges, to include a rare metasequoia and numerous rhododendrons, and at the end of which a set of sandstone steps leads to a further lawn. Beyond is a garden shed and path leading towards the stream and over into woodland.

There are several mature trees to include a particularly impressive weeping beech, and on the other side of the mill stream is an extensive area of woodland with further specimen trees to include, silver birch, oak and beech with sporadic underplanting of Spring bulbs. The woodland area continues away from the house.
