Situation - Northfield End is a residential area of Henley-on-Thames, an attractive and vibrant market town situated in beautiful and tranquil countryside approximately 35 miles west of London. Saffron Cottage is within a moments walk of Henley town centre.
Henley provides excellent shopping facilities, an exceptional choice of restaurants and cafés, and also has a 3-screen cinema and one of the oldest working theatres in the UK, the Kenton Theatre. The town plays host to many festivals and outdoor events throughout the year, including the music festival every July. The surrounding countryside is ideal for outdoor pursuits and is well served with good schooling, both in the state and private sectors.

Henley has its own branch line railway station which links via Twyford to London. Reading and its station, a major national rail hub, is around 9 miles. Fast trains for the commuter take under half an hour to London`s Paddington Station. From Henley, the A4130 is a short drive to the A404M which provides excellent access to the M4 and M40 motorways.
