The open plan dining and family room is again dual aspect and has doors leading to the study/entrance hall and to the bedroom wing. There are four bedrooms. The main and second bedroom both have ensuite facilities and built in wardrobes. The two other bedrooms both have fitted cupboards and share a shower room.
Outside
The gravelled driveway leads towards the house and triple garage, with ample parking. The front garden area has a wall to the front and former moat which formed part of the abbey grounds in Hurley. The gardens are laid to lawn with well stocked beds, mature trees and bushes. To the rear of the garden is a tennis court which requires refurbishment.
Situation
Hurley is a conservation village situated on the banks of the river Thames between Marlow and Henley. There are plentiful amenities easily accessible in the two towns, including superstore shopping, doctors’ and dentist’ surgeries and leisure facilities, as well as within Maidenhead (5.3 miles) which is situated to the southeast of Hurley and offers Elizabeth Line connection to central London. The area is renowned for its schooling in the local area, including St Piran’s and Danesfield, with a variety of primary schools in the surrounding villages. Junction 8/9 of the M4 is easily accessible via the A404 or A308, providing access to the M25 motorway network, Heathrow, London and the West Country. There is excellent walking and riding locally on the Thames Path and within the Chiltern Hills AONB. Just outside the village, the area opens out to glorious Green Belt rolling countryside and a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
