Woodward Lakes and Lodges is an absolute hidden gem positioned a mile or so from the M18 junction at Armthorpe and is a gated complex with a security office for entry which is manned 24/7. There is an onsite pitch and putt golf course, tennis courts and Boules courts which are all free for residents use. Watersports are allowed on the lake as long as there is no engine involved. Many of the lodges have jetties for mooring boats and canoes. There is also access to nearby Armthorpe village which offers a wealth of amenities to include shops, schools, restaurants, supermarkets, pubs and healthcare. Road links include the M18, M1, A1M, M62 and M180.
