If you are struggling to find a home with a large garden, or a place to safely keep your beloved motor home or even yacht, then look no further, as this home not only has that but also offers a quality home to accompany it.

Mynydd Isa is one of those locations we are always receiving enquiries about and its popularity comes as no surprise when you consider what it's able to offer as a family oriented environment.

It seems everyone wants to live here and when we add the extra desirability of that rarity in this area; a large and attractive garden then this home becomes all the more desirable. Properties here rarely remain on the market for long, especially with what this has to offer, a large garden, which seems to be a thing of the past, fortunately, this home comes from the past but with all the 21st century mod cons......so book an early viewing.

Behind an immaculately kept hedge, which also provides privacy for the front garden which has been laid entirely with decorative gravel. A small ornamental tree sits centred and has something of the zen about it, giving a feeling of peace. A feeling that it's being completely maintenance free further accentuates...

Opening the semi glazed UPVC front door we step into the bright and cheerful hall with its quality wood laminate flooring and where the staircase rises in front of us.

To our left is a door into the lounge with its large bay window overlooking the front garden and providing masses of natural light, while the height of the perimeter hedge shields you from passing eyes. The remainder of the room is everything you could hope for; bright while remaining cosy and welcoming, something underlined by the living flame effect fire in its wooden fire surround which makes the room feel warm whatever the actual temperature.

To the rear of the room a large open archway leads through to the dining room where happily, the theme of being generously proportioned continues.

In the centre of the room sits a proper full sized family dining table with matching chairs and, even with the accompanying sideboard in place, there remains enough space to move around the table without the server jostling auntie Doreen's sherry arm......and thus preserving peace! Light in here comes from the pair of patio style doors opening onto the peace of the rear garden, a feature that during the summer months could transform this room with a realistic impression of al fresco dining, but without the hassle of actually going outside.

Returning to the hallway where the remaining door opens into the kitchen.

Strictly speaking, this should be referred to as a galley style kitchen but this seems a little unfair as it manages to provide so much more than the term suggests. Yes, it features two banks of fitted units facing one another across a central companionway but there is nothing of the awkwardness and claustrophobic working conditions usually associated with galleys, there being more than enough space for multiple chefs to work in harmony.

However should you favour the modern idea of a large kitchen which incorporates living space, removal of the dividing wall between here and the dining room would result in a massive room where your imagination could run riot....just a thought!

You could also add an amazing extension to the rear and side of this home (relevant planning would need to be obtained) and create the dream kitchen / living / dining / family room.....but that's something for the future maybe!

Stepping outside via the kitchen door places us in the rear section of the garden where a large area of gravel (a continuation of that found in the front garden) runs the full width of the home and provides a pleasant spot to sit and relax adjacent to the patio doors.
Beyond here the lawn runs down to the side of the detached garage, this and the driveway being set at right-angles to the home and exiting onto the side road, it being a corner plot. The remainder of the garden is to the side of the home where we also find a paved section perfect for storage bins or even a sheltered sitting area. Beyond here is a large and well tended garden with manicured hedges and a selection of small trees and shrubs, enough to bring out you inner Titchmarsh....or concrete over and provide a place for more cars to park.

Returning indoors and climbing the stairs we move to the front of the home to address the universal problem with this type of house; the smallest bedroom. Although here, in spite of losing part of its floor space to the rise of the stair well, there remains more room than I expected and it would make a perfectly acceptable single room for any young adult or even a great office if you work from home.

Adjacent to here and also overlooking the front is the principal bedroom where we find space for a king sized bed with twin bedside cabinets, while still leaving room for a large free standing wardrobe that does nothing to prevent easy movement around the room. Above all it is comfortable and welcoming, as any good bedroom should be.

Moving towards the rear of the home the second of the double rooms is only marginally smaller if indeed, at all. Again there is space for free standing furniture in the form of a wardrobe and separate chest of drawers and it is still easy to move around, so unless you number indoor badminton among your hobbies, there is little to dislike.

Finally we come to the family bathroom or if you want to be pedantic, family shower room. This has been delightfully done out with a very classy ceramic floor that not only looks attractive but is the ultimate in practicality. The suite itself comprises a pedestal hand basin, lavatory and walk-in glass shower cubicle, giving everything you need in one space. A frosted window allows ample light in and keeps prying eyes out - although it's not that kind of area.

Photos are taken with a WIDE ANGLE CAMERA so PLEASE LOOK at the 3D & 2D floor plans for approximate room sizes as we don't want you turning up at the home and being disappointed, courtesy of planstosell.co.uk:

If this is the size of home your are seeking and you are not a DIY enthusiast, it is already perfect. If you want a larger than average garden then it's another tick! If you fancy yourself on the tools and are enthused by the current fashion for huge kitchens, it has all the potential you could want. If we then throw into the mix its desirable and convenient location, the proximity of the area's most highly regarded schools and the ease of access to the major road network for those still afflicted by the curse of the daily commute, it becomes even harder to find fault with this exceptional home.
