Description

We welcome to the market this detached traditional two storey house located in the rural and scenic village of Lemreway in South Lochs. Minch View is aptly named as there are views of the Minch and beyond from all the front facing windows in the house.

The accommodation on offer extends to entrance vestibule, hallway, lounge, kitchen with room for a dining table, family sized bathroom, downstairs double bedroom and a further two double bedrooms upstairs.

The property would benefit from some upgrading but still offers an excellent home which has been well maintained. Heating is offered by electric storage heaters and the property is double glazed throughout.

Located on an elevated site the property boundary is defined by a wooden fence at the front and a post and wire fence around the remainder of the gardens. There are two attached stores one to the side and one to the rear. There is an area to the front of the property to sit out and enjoy the peaceful surrounds. Off-road parking is available to the rear.

Lemreway is located at the end of the district of South Lochs which is approximately 29 miles from Stornoway Town centre. There are a number amenities in the neighbouring villages with a village shop and fuel station located in Kershader which is a short drive away.

Lemreway is one of the most scenic villages on the Isle of Lewis with views of the Shiant Islands and Skye visible on a clear day. The village is a great base for outdoor exploring such as hillwalking and fishing.

We would strongly suggest viewing Minch View to fully appreciate the properties location and peaceful surroundings.
