Villa Solaris is located in a flat and private location, surrounded by cultivated fields and greenhouses, only about 6 km from both Latina and the magnificent beaches, dunes and coastal lakes of the Circeo National Park.

The name of this area is evocative of Homer's work, in which it is said that on this exact promontory Ulysses met the legendary sorceress Circe. The area is a true natural treasure. The park was established in 1934, saving many natural areas of interest from the great Agro Pontino works. The territory, the flora and the fauna are not the only special qualities of this area. It is also rife with important archaeology (as evidenced by the abundance of palethnological and archaeological finds, the area has been inhabited by man since prehistoric times), and historical and architectural evidence, with Sabaudia (17 km away) considered one of the best examples of Italian rationalist architecture.

 

Rome is about 70 km and an hour away, and golf enthusiasts will find several excellent golf clubs near the city, including:

This 17th-century villa commissioned by Cardinal Flavio Chigi, nephew of Pope Alexander VII, soars on the edge of a volcanic crater that the inventive Robert Trent Jones transformed into a challenging golf course with interesting technical details. The terrain, already naturally laid out, accommodates 93 bunkers, 3 small lakes, artificial obstacles and a thousand other pitfalls among centuries-old olive trees, oaks and maritime pines.

From the building's balcony, the view of the course captivates visitors and allows you to see all of the beautiful 18 holes at once. Behind you, four centuries of history permeate the solemn walls of the clubhouse;

These 9 holes, par 35, designed around three small lakes with natural springs, make up a very technical and fun course that will challenge even the most experienced players.

The course has water on 90 percent of the holes, and offers fast, well-defended and not overly large greens. Those who are committed to playing par need to be concentrated and precise. Players who seek the exaltation of a birdie need to make sure they have a good amount of courage. The mostly flat course means it is not overly tiresome for the players.
