In the opposite direction the main line station is about the same distance and there are very regular services to Waterloo which take about 43 minutes. Junction 4a of the M3 is about 2.7 miles away and provides a great vehicular link to London, Heathrow and the West Country. If you enjoy sport then you will find the Hart Leisure centre is about 1.7 miles away and if your preference is more directed towards relaxation then The Four Seasons Spa Hotel and restaurant is around 4 miles away in Dogmersfield. Heading further west from there you will soon come across some lovely villages such as Odiham and Upton Grey where there are some super country lanes for the cyclists amongst you and of course local country pubs. The area is renowned for its good selection of both state and independent schools including Yateley Manor, Calthorpe Park, St. Nicholas and Lord Wandsworth to name a few.
