There is easy access to the M4 motorway to either Bristol or London, and the country house hotel Lucknam Park is also located around 1 mile (1.6 km) north of the village. There are regular trains to London Paddington from Chippenham Station (journey time 75 minutes). The wonderful National Trust site of Lacock village and Abbey are close by as is the village of Castle Combe. There are plenty of good local walks on the doorstep of 2 Chapel Path into the Box Valley.
