The house was built on a plot of 2,175 m2. It has a living area of 74 m2 on one floor and a 10 m2 garage.

The property is distributed in living room with fireplace, independent kitchen, a complete bathroom, three bedrooms, and a large terrace. From the living room you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Teide volcano.

In this area, there is no type of electricity supply, or water. The house is equipped with solar panels and a generator for emergencies. The water supply is very simple, a tanker truck provides it. Inside the land, there is a cistern with a capacity for 12 thousand liters of water. It has electric pumps that supply the house with hot and cold water. There is perfect telephone and internet coverage, satellite for television. The house was completely renovated in 2008, including the electricity, plumbing and the roof.

¨El Portillo¨ area is 2200 meters above sea level, there is always sunny blue sky. The average temperatures, at noon, between spring and autumn range between +15 and +21 degrees. In winter they range between +1 and +10 degrees, there may be some very cold winter days that drop to -5 degrees and snow fall in the area.

The property is located in an exclusive and privileged area, where no further construction of residential properties will be allowed. Around there are several houses and restaurants, it is also close to the ¨Izaña¨ astrophysical observatory. The house is located in a strategic place for astronomical observation.

In this area is the Teide volcano, which with its 3718 meters, is the highest peak in the Canary Islands, and in Spain. It is also the third largest volcano in the world from its base on the ocean floor.

It is the most visited National Park in Europe and currently the ninth in the world.

This park was declared on January 22, 1954 as a National Park, in recognition of its volcanic and biological uniqueness. In 2007 it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, with the category of Natural Good and also since that year it is considered one of the 12 Treasures of Spain. All the flora and fauna can be enjoyed on the grounds of this property.
