Mobility scooters will need to have permission granted before signing up and a risk assessment will need to be undertaken.
There are 2 communal lounges within the scheme, the main lounge houses comfortable seating for socializing and there is a small kitchen area next door to make teas and coffee. This lounge is also used for large events such as birthday parties, Christmas events and special occasions. The smaller lounge is known as The Spitfire Lounge and houses books, games, and a TV.
Within the scheme, situated on the ground floor, there is a communal laundry which is accessed by residents between the hours of 8am and 8pm. Within a 5-10-minute walk you can access Hanley city centre where you will find retail shops, cafes, bars and restaurants as well as multiple supermarkets within walking distance. Hanley offers great transport links as the bus station is less than a 10-minute walk from the scheme and Stoke train station is only 5 minutes' drive by car/taxi. The local park, museum, theatres and cinema can be reached via car/taxi in less than 5 minutes.
