Description
As you step into the home, you'll immediately notice the new LVT flooring that runs throughout the downstairs—both stylish and practical, ideal for managing those muddy footprints during the winter months.
To the right of the hallway is the bright and airy living room, thanks to its dual-aspect windows and south-facing garden. There's plenty of space for a two-piece suite and swivel chair, or you could opt for a modern corner sofa. Double doors open up to the dining room, a must-have for any family gathering. French doors from the dining room lead out to a larger-than-average garden. The garden boasts a spacious decking area and a patio—perfect for outdoor seating when it's your turn to host the summer BBQs. You’ll also have convenient access to the driveway and garage from the garden.
One of the key reasons the current owners fell in love with this home is its thoughtfully designed downstairs layout. The kitchen is spacious enough to accommodate a small dining table, allowing the formal dining room to be repurposed as a snug or playroom, offering even more versatility. However, the current owners chose to install a central island, which serves as a convenient spot for casual meals or a cozy place to unwind and catch up after a long day. The high-gloss units combined with wood-effect worktops offer a beautiful contrast, blending sleek modern style with natural warmth. This harmonious pairing not only elevates the aesthetic but also creates a welcoming, homely feel—perfect for both everyday living and entertaining. Additionally, the home features a practical utility room, neatly tucked away to house the washing machine, ensuring that kitchen noise is kept to a minimum when entertaining guests
Finally, to finish off the downstairs there is a W/C and a study, perfect for those who work from home.
The first floor features four bedrooms, a family bathroom, and an ensuite. The master bedroom is located at the front of the house, there's ample space for a king-size bed with room to spare for bedside tables. A convenient alcove provides the perfect spot for a wardrobe without compromising floor space. The ensuite is bright and airy, complete with a double shower and a window to let in plenty of natural light. The second bedroom is also situated at the front of the house, being furthest from the master bedroom, this thoughtful layout ensures that your child enjoys their own private space. The third and fourth bedrooms are ideally suited for the younger members of the family, conveniently located closer to the master suite. These bedrooms share the main bathroom, which features a shower and tasteful tiling, making it both functional and inviting.
Parking, There is a garage and driveway with space for two cars as well as ample community parking.
More about the location.....
For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.
Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston and Birmingham.
Newton Leys Primary School opened in 2016 and accepts children from age 3 (nursery) to age 11 (Year 6). Many parents take advantage of the Grammar Schools in Aylesbury for Secondary education being only approximately 11 miles away.
In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. ft Asda. At the end of April the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.

About Lion Estates, Powered by Keller Williams, Milton Keynes
314 Midsummer Boulevard Milton Keynes MK9 2UBLion Estates is a team of estate agents offering the most personal service in the industry. Our goal is to cover our costs by adding value in the form of a higher sales price, better communication and reduce stress for our clients. We aim to be your chosen property professional for life, offering advice and support even when you're not looking to move home.
A New Breed Of Estate AgentIt's no secret that estate agents in the UK don't have the best reputation compared to other countries across the world...
We believe this is down to the high transactional nature of the typical estate agency business model. The need to sell high levels of homes results in poor marketing, worse communication and under-performance which leaves clients feeling short-changed. The agent who values your home and wins your trust isn't the agent who shows potential buyers around your home and goes on to negotiate your sales price. This crucial task falls to the least experienced staff member, who more often than not knows nothing about your home and hopes the potential buyer will decide to offer full asking price off their own back. Don't blame the agent though; they are likely conducting viewings on 30 - 50 homes, such is their business model, so it's impossible for them to know every detail about every home. But the person it impacts the most is the person who is paying the agent's fee - you.
This, however, is through choice and not necessity - there is a better way.
Imagine a service designed around what's best for the client, always putting your needs first. A truly personal service tailored to the different needs of each client as, after all, everyone's reason for moving is different. Not only that but every home is different - even if you have the same house style as someone else on your street, no other home has the same plot, orientation and feel of your home. You and your home are unique, and we for one believe you deserve to be treated like it.
The estate agency industry has failed to evolve over the last 40 + years. It has failed to keep up with the changing needs of clients as the world around us has changed rapidly. Finally that change has come - welcome to the era of the personal estate agent.
