Occupying an area of around 713 ha, the Parish of Gondarém is approximately 3 km, south, of the village of Vila Nova de Cerveira, seat of the municipality to which it belongs. It extends from the left bank of the River Minho, where the islands of Boega and Amores are also located, beauty marks of Alto Minho, to the top of the mountains of Goios and Pena.
