Introduction & Exterior

Occupying a marvellous plot on the highly desirable Blackwood Road in Dosthill, this fabulous, detached bungalow will no doubt prove very popular. The property is set back from the road behind a deep driveway and attractive garden. The tarmac drive provides off-road parking for multiple cars precedes a double garage that has two manual up-and-over doors to access. The garage has a personnel door at the rear to access from the garden patio. To the right of the building is a secure gated side passage leading to the rear garden.

The rear garden is very lovely and features a range of mature shrubs and trees bordering a plush lawn. At the beginning of the garden is a full-width slabbed patio that offers options for a range of garden furniture, with a. short wall segregating it from the lawn. Behind the bordering shrubbery is a tall wooden fence boundary to keep the garden private.

Interior

Viewers enter through the main uPVC front door into a long corridor hallway that has doors leading off to all rooms in the bungalow. Beside the door is a tall window that provides a surprising amount of natural light. It’s worth noting that all windows are double-glazed. Immediately to the left of the entrance is a guest WC that includes a wash basin. The remaining rooms off the hallway are three bedrooms, the family bathroom, family lounge and large kitchen. There are also two storage cupboards, one of which houses the hot water tank.

All three bedrooms are double bedrooms, with two positioned at the front of the house and one at the rear. The two at the front both include built-in sliding mirror door wardrobes, with bedroom two nearest the entrance having dual aspect windows. Bedroom three at the rear could be used as an office or alternative dining room.

The lounge is the largest room in the house and features a brick chimney with gas fire mounted to the front. French doors at the rear of the room allow an exit to the patio as well as allowing lots of natural light and a wooden stable door provides entry to the kitchen.

The kitchen is another generous room that has the suite fitted around the rear of the room and an open area at the front for a family dining table. The gas system boiler that feeds the tank in the hallway is mounted high to the wall above the kitchen units. A large stainless steel sink with two draining boards is fitted underneath the window giving a great view of the garden. Clear spaces are available for a washing machine, cooker and fridge freezer.

Finally, the family bathroom comprises of a bathtub with shower and curtain fitted above, pedestal wash basin, toilet and an electric shaving point. The bathroom walls are fully tiled.
