Description
Hayes Country Park is a delightful place to live. It seems to have a holiday atmosphere all year round. There is a lovely circular walk along the river crouch and through open fields which is ideal if you have dogs.
Plenty of wildlife so take your binoculars. There is a social club on site that holds regular weekly events with subsidized drink prices. On hand is the site office with friendly staff who are always read to assist if needed.
South Woodham Ferrers is a short drive away where there is ASDA and Sainsburys plus lots of shops and take-away restaurants that are all excellent, and they also deliver. Just over the A132 is a lovely Pub and restaurant called the lodge, it's about ten minutes walk and is very good. There are also several GP surgeries and the Kingsway Medical Centre that provides all the services that you possibly need including home visits. Wickford is about ten minutes drive also with lots of shops.
The property benefits from gas central heating by bottled gas that is supplied by the site office at cost price. The property is in good condition but would benefit from new carpets as I believe they are the original ones. The house is also fitted with air-conditioning, which also works as a heat pump for very economic heating during the colder months. Broadband is superb and is fitted in the office/study with great wifi connectivity throughout the house.
There is off-road parking for two cars and a small patio for al fresco dining or just sitting out with a glass of wine.

Currently the site fees are £430 which includes all water and sewerage costs. Band B for community charge. The natives are very friendly and I have made lots of good friends. The fridge freezer and washer/dryer, both two years old are to remain as well as the sofa and armchair to give you somewhere to sit if required!
