Description

Located to the north of the Dordogne as far as the Limousin and Charente, the Périgord Vert owes its name to its countryside and omnipresent nature. This region, still untouched by mass tourism, is regarded as France's little green gem. It's an ideal place to reconnect and get away from it all.

We found this property on a map of Guyenne dating back to at least 1360.
This beautiful residence has emerged from the Middle Ages with its breathtaking architectural features, such as its staircase with gigantic granite steps and vaulted stone arches. Given its narrow width, light can shine right through the property in places. This is a real benefit in terms of luminosity. The wooded parklands in front of the manor house are enclosed by walls and include two large gites as well as a huge barn with a recent roof. The meadows for the horses stretch to the east of the building and the vegetable garden to the north. A little further on there is a small lake of around 12,000m2 which forms part of the property.
