The location is very nice and really close. You have everything you need. However, parking availability is really low and hard but other than that it’s really good.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They try to take immediate action as much as they can.

Pretty good location and amazing area. It is great to be able to move around with such ease! No noise or complaints about the area.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, everything related to Hove Gardens has been addressed with quality since the new management. However homebox is bad.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Home box is a problem! The bills should be better explained and it shouldn’t over charge you out of the blue! Only complaint about the whole experience.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Located next to the train and bus station. Small amount of noise comes from these overnight and early hours. Parking is paid in the area, we pay for parking at the train station on a monthly basis. A wide range of shops, restaurants and bars are walkable from here, as well as easy transport to Brighton and London. Beach is 20min walk from the building.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Quickly and friendly. We’ve always found them easy and pleasant to deal with.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There are so many good local offers and discounts from local businesses for residents. A little more visibility and awareness of these would be great.
Manager's response5Hi JR, Thank you so much for your 5-star review. The property is of a lovely design isn't it, and love the nod to "Soho House" :-) It's great to learn that you are embracing the community and the unique living experience of a purpose built - built to rent property. It's lovely to hear that you find the team to be a "dream", being super friendly and helpful. Thank you for choosing "Hove Gardens" as your "Home" and for your valuable feedback. Kind regards, Serena

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Excellent location to grocery stores, cafés, restaurants and pubs. Hove train station is basically on the doorstep. Street parking can be a bit tricky to find, but I am very grateful that we have been able to get a parking space in the parkade in the building!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
When I first moved in (March 2024) I needed a few things to be looked at/repaired and they got it booked it pretty quickly. But I haven't experienced any other issues since.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Having a balcony was one of my non-negotiables and unfortunately, I didn't realize just how windy it would be so I don't get to enjoy it all that much. Also, the pigeons LOVE to sit on the railing and leave little "presents" behind :(
Manager's response5Hi Holly, Thank you for your fabulous 5-star review. It's great to hear that you find Hove Gardens to be beautiful (of course I don't disagree); and that you find the team to be warm and welcoming. Delighted to hear that you have secured a car park space in our popular underground and secure car park. Thank you for choosing Hove Gardens as your "Home"; and for sharing your valuable feedback. Kind regards, Serena

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area has a large ranges of local shops, coffee shops, small independent bars. There is a small local Tesco extra situated a 3 minute walk away and a large Tesco a 10 minute walk away. There is a small local high street a 5 minute walk away with high street shops (e.g. boots, cafe Nero, nationwide and savers)
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We had a few issues with things within the apartment and building management were very efficient and professional with their responses Joe on Font Of House is extremely helpful and friendly, always has a smile on his face. He is a ray of sunshine in the day. He never fails to make me smile and nothing is ever a chore for him to help with
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish we knew before moving was that the trolleys they have to aid move ins we small (we definitely needed bigger trolleys)
