Description
This immaculate two double bedroom, one bathroom apartment with a small private outdoor terrace is available now, chain-free. For leisure, the open green space of Battersea Park is moments away, whilst the mixture of restaurants, cafes, and bars at Battersea Power Station are also easily reached by foot. For a wider variety of shops and amenities, Chelsea and the King's Road are just across the bridge and easily walkable in less than 30 mins.
Day-to-day practicalities are taken care of by a variety of local stores including a Sainsbury's Local within the adjacent Battersea Exchange development, whilst some of the best coffee in London can be found at Sendero Specialty Coffee just around the corner. Direct transport into central London is available from Battersea Park (5 minutes to Victoria) and Queenstown Road (5 minutes to Waterloo) stations, along with various bus routes, and a Santander Cycles docking station close by. The Battersea Power Station Northern Line extension is now open and is also within a few minutes' walking distance.
Some words from the seller:
What do you love most about your home/property?
The flat has so many things that make it such a cute home. My two favourites are:
The outside space - being able to have the door open during the summer into the outside really helps to forget you’re in central London and it makes for a very good place to dry laundry!
The underfloor heating - which you can program to come on at whatever time you like - really makes getting out of bed in the winder easier for sure!
Why are you selling?
Its sad to leave this flat and this are area however me and my partner are looking to move in together early next year and it doesn’t make sense for me to own this flat anymore. It does make me happy to know that someone else will now get to enjoy the flat as much as I have.
What do you love about the area?
So many things!
I feel a big sense of community with my neighbours, everyone is so lovely and we all try to look out for each other.
My commute into the office is effortless from here and I can choose between three different routes (Battersea Power Station, Battersea Park & Queenstown Road).
Being so close to the power station is so convenient for shopping and eating out (I really recommend the hidden cinema inside!)
Sunday morning walks in Battersea Park!
