Avoriaz, situated at 1800 metre in altitude and benefiting from a unique microclimate that has made it on one of the most snow sure resorts in the French alps, perfectly partners Morzine at 1000 metres and is a centre piece of the extensive Portes du Soleil ski region, connecting 12 resorts over France and Switzerland. In summer the area becomes a centre for mountain biking with a huge number of diverse trails to explore, a fantastic road cycling destination, and offers a huge range of other summer activities such as golf, hiking and lake swimming.

1 hour and 38 minutes drive from Geneva airport, 55 minutes from the train station at Thonon Les Bains, or 56 minutes from Cluses, making it one of the most easily accessible high resorts.

Located in the centre of the pedestrianised resort, Chalet Alaya is exceptionally well placed to make the most of instant access to the skiing, restaurants, bars and shops.

Laid out over three levels sleeping up to 16 people in a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, dressing room, separate WC and private balcony terrace, 2 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, 2 doubles and a twin plus a bunk room sharing a large bathroom and separate WC, and another double room with its own bathroom and separate WC.

The comfortable living space features two lounges set either side of a wood burning fireplace, a dining area with a modern kitchen, a cinema room and access to a large terrace.

There are two entrances into the chalet, one being a wet entrance with a dressing space for coats, equipped with boot dryers.

The chalet has a sauna with its own shower and sink to refresh after a day on the slopes, plus a gym area.

A second terrace is accessible from one of the lounges.

The property is heated with electric underfloor heating and hot water provided by electric heaters.
