Description

Overview. There is a theme for many buyers and sellers when considering Cuckfield, finding a home that is big enough to accommodate a growing family, within budget and within the village is a challenge. This home more than meets that challenge. Meadow View is a development built by Bellway, one of the UK's most regarded house builders. We really like the flexible layout, with the accommodation split over three floors. As you walk through the front door, you’ll find the kitchen/breakfast room to the front. Modern and slick presentation, you have the benefit of integrated appliances and an additional work surface which could be used as a breakfast bar/seating area. The herringbone style flooring is a lovely finish to this room. To the rear you’ll find the spacious sitting room and the ground floor accommodation is completed by a cloakroom and storage cupboard.

On the first floor are two bedrooms and the family bathroom. Bedroom one, along with its en-suite shower room and built in wardrobes is located at the rear, whilst the other bedroom which can be found to the front also has a built in wardrobe. Stairs rise to the second floor and two further bedrooms, one of which is currently used as an office and has the added benefit of a storage cupboard and eaves storage. Outside, the garden is low maintenance with outdoor lighting imbedded within the decking and access to the rear which leads to the allocated parking space.

Location. The sought after village of Cuckfield is located in a superb central position, just to the East of the A23 linking Brighton and the M25. The village boasts an array of independent shops coupled with a thriving community. Our favourite places to eat are at The Wheatsheaf Inn, The Talbot and The Rose & Crown. The Wheatsheaf is the closest to the property boasting wholesome pub food and a well-regarded quiz night on a Tuesday! The Talbot has been renovated in recent years and boasts an impressive function room. There is also the monthly local food market which you will find at The Rose and Crown. For a more special occasion, you could try Ockenden Manor & Spa which is in the heart of the village. For schools, there is Holy Trinity Primary School and Warden Park Secondary School. For even younger children, there are plenty of classes at the Old School and Queens Hall. A short drive or a brisk walk takes you to Haywards Heath with its own range of shopping facilities including a Waitrose and Sainsburys. Haywards Heath is a major stop on the London to Brighton Line. Both London Bridge and London Victoria can be reached in under 50 minutes. Gatwick Airport is within 15 miles and the M25 a little further along the M23.
