It is located 2 km east of the village of Svoboda, 4 km north of the village of Ovcharovo, 19 km north of the municipal and regional center of Dobrich, 56 km northwest of the sea coast near the town of Balchik, 59 km northwest of the Albena resort complex, 67 km north of Varna Airport, 18 km north of the international road Varna-Dobrich-Kardam-Kyustendzha/Constanta (Romania), 50 km from the Kardam border checkpoint and 31 km from the Krushari border checkpoint on the border with Romania. The local population is entirely of Bulgarian ethnic origin, with several English families already settled there.
