About the Village

West Peckham, a charming and idyllic village in Kent. With fewer than 300 adult residents, West Peckham offers a quintessential English village lifestyle, surrounded by the rolling hills and lush countryside of the Weald. The village is steeped in history and character, featuring quaint cottages and landmarks such as the medieval St. Dunstan's Church.

On the far side of the green from Churchfields sits The Swan, a beloved village pub currently being purchased by the community, offering a welcoming spot for locals and visitors alike. The picturesque village green—a hub for community gatherings—adds to West Peckham’s rural charm, and the surrounding countryside offers an abundance of scenic walking trails, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and families.

Despite its tranquil rural setting, West Peckham benefits from excellent connectivity to nearby towns, including Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, and Sevenoaks, all of which offer fast road and rail links. The area is also well-served by highly regarded grammar and public schools, making it an ideal location for families seeking a balance between village life and modern conveniences. West Peckham is a quintessential Kentish village, known for its history, community spirit, and natural beauty.

Churchfields is a delightful family home located right on the village green in the heart of West Peckham.
