Description

This magnificently grand Victorian home with original features throughout has potential to combine two separate flats back into one whole house. With approximately a 10% larger plot size than any other houses on Carlisle Road this is clearly an amazing opportunity for a buyer to create the best and biggest house on the road.

With a combination of the ground floor and first floor flats (used to be an original house) there is potential to restore it to its former glory.
We think with combining both floors together plus a stylish loft conversion (subject to planning permission if applicable) this would then be a house for a family that will enjoy living on this excellent road for many years to come.

The original staircase with the stunning stain glass window as you walk up the stairs still remains part of the first floor flat so restoring this into the main house layout again should be a simple process.
The entire property both downstairs and upstairs has such impressive natural light throughout.

Carlisle Road has an amazing sense of community with families who have lived there for a long time which has kept an amazing community spirit. There is an annual street party which residents enjoy during the summer. The location of Carlisle Road is second to none as it’s just a stones throw from the beach but has the luxury of not having road noise of the seafront road. Rockwater is just a few minutes walk away with its great food and drinks/coffee menu. The schooling both private and state schools are excellent and all within walking distance.

The current owners gave us some background about how much they’ve enjoyed their time at Carlisle Road…

‘Living in this house has been an absolute joy, and it's truly the perfect family home. We've made so many special memories here, especially during Christmas—it’s the most magical 'Christmas house'. It’s filled with so much potential, and we know someone will be incredibly lucky to bring it back to its grand original self. With the beach just at the end of the road, it's been a hub for life by the sea for all the family. Beyond the home itself, being part of such a warm, welcoming community has been one of the highlights of living here. We’ll truly miss it’
