Reflecting on our ten years at Milestone Cottage, it’s remarkable to see how much has evolved. We arrived as a newly married couple and move on as a family of four taking with us countless memories made in this special home. Over the decade, we’ve tailored Milestone Cottage to become our ideal home, expanding and adapting with our evolving needs.

Our children have enjoyed the freedom and space that our home and garden offered, embodying the essence of a true family home. And as we recently remodelled the kitchen, we ensured it became not just a place to cook but a vibrant space for gatherings, blending seamlessly with the rest of our living areas to support our love for hosting friends and family. This space, along with the generous garden, was our sanctuary during the lockdowns, providing us both with the luxury of nature and the perfect setting for work and play.

It’s truly been a perfect setting for both our personal growth and professional endeavours, offering a quiet retreat that’s still connected to everything we need.

As we bid farewell to Milestone Cottage, we leave behind a home that we hope brings as many happy moments and memories to the new owners as it did for us.

Wow, where should we start with this one!? Firstly, Milestone Cottage is safely tucked away on a little side road off the main Basingstoke Road and is close to the SANG land and balancing pond at the end of the road. You're also close to the A33 and access to the M4 is easy within a few minute's drive. The thing that we love about this spot in particular is the amount of green space, with an abundance of walks to enjoy on your doorstep.
Three Mile Cross has local amenities including a handy Budgens and recently re-opened pub The Swan just a short walk away and you're not too far from either Shinfield or Lower Earley offering further amenities and pubs. You are well positioned for access into Reading and Wokingham towns, you have public transport links including Mereoak Park and Ride just a short walk away from this property and you also have easy access to the new train link in Green Park, making it much easier to commute to London now.
