Es Canutells, previously was once an old fishing village, set within a small but very beautiful gorge on the south coast of the island. One of the smallest and least developed tourist resorts. Around this area, you will often see "Bini" used in places names, reflecting the Moorish occupation (Bini means 'belonging to the son of...') There is a good mix of private holiday villas, residential homes and a low rise, but hotel complex. Es Canutells is uncommercialized and a more relaxed resort. San Clement is the nearest town, only 5 minutes away in the car. Binidali is also 5 minutes away in the opposite direction, which has a small but very pretty little beach.
