Where it is.

Ashley Cross is the place to be, you will not be disappointed as it has something for everyone. The 'village' itself has an array of facilities including library, convenience stores, boutiques, doctors surgery, pharmacy etc. But there is also a vast selection of cafes, eateries, trendy bars and fashionable bistros. The bustling atmosphere of this thriving community adds to the allure of living in this sought-after location. You can easily access the local parks, schools and the town centre. The award winning beaches of Sandbanks beach are close by. The two local schools Baden Powell Junior and Courthill Infant are both in easy reach.

The History

This property has so much history we thought we share what we have been told, it was built in 1837 by Mr Patzka as a single dwelling as a high society manor house with acres of land attached now we believe where Courtenay Road and down to Dansie Close are. In the 1900’s it was then turned into Dorchester School and was run by Mrs Dansie the head teacher. Then in the 1950’s the school was converted into flats and became Highfield House.
