Description

NO CHAIN - Nicely presented semi-detached bungalow in the catchment for Parkside Primary School and within walking distance of local shops. Sunny, private garden and SINGLE GARAGE. 2 Double Bedrooms, Sitting Room, Kitchen and Bathroom. Double Glazed and Gas Central heating:
There is pedestrian access to the front of the house where there is a small garden and vehicle access to the rear of the house to the single garage. There is light oak laminate floor throughout except the main bedroom which is carpeted. The sitting room has a large window facing south and there is a chimney breast but it is closed. The main bedroom is at the back of the house with double built-in wardrobe with cupboards above and large window facing North but very sunny. The second bedroom is also a good sized double with a double aspect. The kitchen is fitted with an older range of cupboards with space for a washing machine, fridge, freezer and electric cooker. The Viesman gas boiler is in one of the cupboards and there is a stainless steel sink unit with a window above. Further window and door to the rear garden. The bathroom has a wash basin, bath with shower over and window. There is a separate w.c.

Outside: The front of the bungalow is protected from the road by a mature hedge and is very private as the pedestrian path only goes to one other house but the neighbours use the rear doors. The back garden is completely secure with fencing and there is a patio to the side and pathway to the side of the house with secure gate and space for bin storage. The garden faces north but there is nothing stopping the east and west sun and the house is low enough not to block the southerly sun. A gate leads to the driveway, which is shared, to the single garage with up and over door, window and personal door to the rear.

SERVICES: Main services, gas central heating and tax band D.

The bungalow is conveniently located with bus stops just up the road providing services into Heathfield, Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne. It is about a mile walk to the main shops in the High Street but there are some other local shops much nearer, along with a pub and takeaway. Heathfield High Street is well served with a variety of local and boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and takeaways. There are medical amenities, doctors, dentists, local churches with active social groups and the town has regular market days. Parkside Primary School is a very highly sought after school and this property is within the small catchment area for it. Main line stations are about 15 minutes drive.

DIRECTIONS: From Heathfield High Street, turn down Station Road by the mini roundabout. At the traffic lights turn right and continue past a row of local shops, taking the next left turning. Turn immediately right and park. The pedestrian access is just on the right hand side for the viewing.
