Little Hormead is a popular East Hertfordshire village surrounded by gently undulating and remarkably unspoilt countryside, approximately 3 miles from Buntingford, where there are schools, shops and other facilities. The A10 (approx. 2 miles away) provides road links with Hertford (15 miles), Ware, M25 and London. There is a local village school in Great Hormead and a further school in Braughing (approx. 3 miles). The market town of Bishop’s Stortford (approx. 9 miles) offers more comprehensive amenities including a mainline station to London’s Liverpool Street(approx. 35mins). Saffron Walden is about 13 miles away. There is access to the M11 at Duxford or at Junction 8 on the outskirts of Bishop’s Stortford linking with Cambridge and the Midlands or the M25 and London.
