Mimosa house is set in a large mature garden in the hamlet of Ano Messonghi just a minute's drive from Messonghi and Moraitika and all their amenities and beaches. In the other direction, it is a 10-minute drive to the famous sandy beach and lake of the Nature reserve of Halikouna.

As it stands, Mimosa is currently split into two levels as two separate apartments. This offers a buyer the chance to reconfigure the house into a very large spacious family home or to keep it as it is and have a good-sized home with a separate rental apartment.

The downstairs apartment has a large entrance hall with plenty of useful storage space which leads into the main living area. This is a large room with an open fireplace and large double-glazed windows giving a light airy feel to the home with views of the garden. From this room, there is a door to the very large bedroom which is also set up as a study with views into the garden. Another door leads to the galley-style kitchen which has a utility room at one end and a shower room at the other end. From the end with the shower room, there is also another door leading back to the bedroom.

An independent staircase leads to the upstairs apartment. As you enter there is a small hallway leading into the lounge/dining area with an open fireplace featuring traditional fitted seating on either side of it. The kitchen is a separate room and the bathroom has a full-size bath. The bedroom currently has a double bed and fully fitted floor-to-ceiling wardrobes. The quirky part of this house is also on this floor – the large front balcony has been completely closed in and is currently divided into three rooms by double-glazed doors and windows – one was currently used as a bedroom. The beauty of this set-up is that during the winter you still have lots of light and then during the summer you can open the windows up in various configurations to get the feeling of an "indoor/outdoor" room.

Although the house is just off the road, it is set back far enough and with a barrier of trees it ensures privacy. The garden itself is full of mature plants and trees with a vegetable garden already set up and another area fenced for chickens and geese.

Also in the garden is another small building with a fireplace inside which opens up to provide another "indoor/ outdoor" room with a built-in BBQ for summer dining.
