L'Echappee is perfectly located in a quiet area surrounded by nature and the mountains, just 300m from the chair lift and the shops & restaurants of Morillon and a 6 minute drive from the historic centre of Samoens which has a great choice of amenities including a Spa and yoga. There is also a cycle path and a free year round ski bus that shuttles you to Samoens and back to Morillon. Morillon forms part of the Grand Massiff ski zone with 265km of slopes up to 2,500m altitude and shares the ski domain with Flaine, Les Carroz, Samoens and Sixt Fer à Cheval. The largest of these is the modern, purpose built ski resort of Flaine which hosts festivals and has a large selection of facilities and a lively apres ski but the charm is to be found in its smaller surrounding villages like Samoens and Morillon.
