The owners have loved living in their home for the last 20 years; they told us, “The location is brilliant, its a short walk to our fave places in Crookes like Unwrapped, Pom, Just Natural and S10 Kitchen, plus we can easily pop to the butcher and cafes in Crosspool or Broomhill.”
Over the years they’ve really enjoyed the local community and wanted to mention their neighbours. “Without sounding like a cliché, the people on the road are what make it, always friendly, happy to stop for a chat or a helping hand, we all keep an eye out for each other without it feeling like big brother, take the odd parcel in, put bins out and away and we have a local WhatsApp group (for those who want to join) so we can share info or just let others know when we’ll be away. Our neighbours really are amazing, and we’ll be very sad to leave”.
The property is accessed through the front door, leading into a welcoming hallway with stairs to the first floor and doors to the dining room, living room, and kitchen.
At the front of the property, the dining room features a charming bay window and a chimney breast, creating a bright and versatile space. The living room is a warm and inviting space, complete with views over the rear garden and a chimney breast housing a wood-burning stove—perfect for cosy evenings.
The kitchen is fitted with timeless Shaker-style units arranged in a practical C-shape, complemented by a stylish bevelled tile splashback. Appliances include a gas hob, electric oven and grill, along with space for a tall fridge/freezer and washing machine.
Upstairs, the first floor offers three bedrooms and a bathroom. The principal bedroom at the front is a spacious double, featuring a beautiful bay window. Bedroom two, another double at the rear, boasts stunning views over the city centre. The third bedroom is a single, ideal as a home office or nursery. The bathroom includes a bath, washbasin, and a separate shower cubicle, with a separate WC for added convenience.
Externally, the front of the property features a paved forecourt with flowerbeds. A shared driveway provides access to the rear garden, which can also be reached from both the living room and kitchen. The rear garden includes a patio area directly behind the house, perfect for outdoor dining, a lawn for relaxation or play, and a detached garage positioned to the side of the lawn.

Crosspool is an incredibly popular suburb west of Sheffield City Centre. Its popularity is due to its easy access to the city centre, many hospitals and both universities as well as the surrounding stunning countryside including Redmires Reservoirs, Wyming Brook, Rivelin Valley and even Ladybower Reservoir. Another attractive feature is the local schools that are rather good and outstanding by Ofsted for all ages. Within Crosspool there are fantastic independent cafes, coffee shops, butchers, a pharmacy, a dentist, and hairdressers as well as GT News, Tesco and Spar.
