In our opinion this is a fabulous 3 bedroom family home for someone looking for the village lifestyle. The property has been maintained to an excellent standard by the current vendors and offers great practicality for every day living with spacious accommodation throughout. This includes a lovely bright lounge with bay window. There is a great farmhouse style kitchen large enough for a good sized table making it the real hub of the house. Upstairs you have 3 DOUBLE BEDROOMS not usually found in many 3 bedroom houses.

The real wow factor for this house is the outside. Once you enter through the gated driveway there is a large L shaped plot which has been cleverly divided into 2 distinct areas One is a large hard standing area ideal for use a yard to store equipment of vehicles. The larger part is a lawned area with 9.4 x 3m outbuilding. This is currently divided into an office and seperate dog grooming facility with full power, lighting and water run to it. This makes it a dream scenario for buyers looking to work from home utilising the office space and other area for a number of other uses including beauty therapist, hair dresser etc.

With the amount of space to the rear, the house could easily be extended to offer even larger family accommodation, with little or no impact on the outside space available.

The property is unique in the fact we are only the second owners in well over 120 plus years. We believe this says a great deal about it being a lovely location and lovely home that people just don't want to leave.

We have enjoyed living here so much and if we had not had the chance to build our own house we would not be moving. The house is perfect for us as are our neighbours being in Hamlet Whetsted which has a very different feel to the rest of the village.

The house has not changed much over the years. We have kept all the original features, added a window in the stairwell and have opened the rear garden to a parking area for approximately 10 vehicles. We have replaced the roof and bathroom and generally decorated every four to five years. The kitchen was replaced in 2018 and we have part boarded the loft area which would make a beautiful room.

The house itself has been a wonderful home which we have enjoy living in and working from. Without a doubt we will miss living here.

It’s a road where neighbours do not live in each others pockets but are on hand if you need help or assistance. 

We are sure that the lucky buyers will love the house every bit as much as we have.
