Description

A charming detached chalet house in a sizable level
plot with gated driveway, detached double garage and
a rural outlook. Offered with no onward chain and scope
to modernise/extend STPP if desired.

The frontage of the house is well screened from the road by mature hedging with gated access into the plot which is approx 0.41 acres.

There is driveway parking and turning for several cars in addition to a detached double garage. A path leads up to the house where an entrance porch greets you before entering into the kitchen.

The kitchen is spacious with plenty of room for a breakfast table, with plenty of storage cupboards and worktops, and like all the principle rooms enjoys garden views over sweeping lawns which were previously a tennis court.

An inner hallway leads to the remainder of the ground floor accommodation which incorporates two large reception rooms, two bedrooms and a shower room. The sitting room is a generous 24'10 and dual aspect with patio doors opening onto the garden. There are beamed ceilings and a striking central Inglenook style brick fireplace. Internal glazed double doors open into the dining room which can also be accessed from the hall. The two ground floor bedrooms could provide study/reception space if needed offering very flexible opportunities.

Moving to the first floor there are two double bedrooms, with the master having the added benefit of a walk in wardrobe, and elevated views over paddocks towards Butser Hill. These bedrooms share a very generous sized family bathroom, leading through to a substantial loft area, which offers scope to utilised further.

Offered with no onward chain.

The grounds are a real feature of this home; level, sunny and spacious with a lovely rural outlook. Adjacent to the house is large shaped patio with wide lawns beyond interspersed with specimen trees and shrubs.
