Description
Dating back to c.1600, this beautiful family home has been sympathetically extended and renovated throughout the years. The exposed timber beams and stunning fireplaces bring a real warmth to this unique home. The property is situated in the heart of the village close to local amenities and St Augustine church as well as local woodlands and fields perfect for a Sunday afternoon walk.
To the right of the property there is off-road parking for 3 cars and access to the property from behind a secure gate. The main door to the property is to the side with a welcoming reception room which has stairs to the first floor and also leads through to a well proportioned dining room. From here you are greeted by double doors out to the rear garden, perfect for entertaining, and an adjacent kitchen which has been modernised without taking away from the character of the house. Off the dining room there is also a large study with full fibre broadband installed perfect for working from home or helping the children with their homework. The study follows through to the original part of the property where the sitting room is located with triple bay windows as well as access to the fully functioning bathroom.
Upstairs you will find four large double bedrooms, 2 of which have en-suites, and a family bathroom. From here there are further stairs to the fifth bedroom with a cloakroom and plenty of storage.
To the rear of the property there is a well kept garden with a substantial workshop and summerhouse. A static mobile home provides a 2 bedroom annex which is self contained and has full council consent to stay should the new owner wish to keep it.
