The Georgian village of Woburn, which has a range of restaurants and public houses, is approximately 3 miles away. The town of Flitwick - with a wider range of facilities including a supermarket and leisure club - is less than 2.5 miles. There are middle and upper schools in Ampthill and Toddington, and the Harpur Trust private boys’ and girls’ schools are situated in Bedford.
