Each property in the development is individually owned. The park owners (Seasons Holidays plc), have entered into a rental agreement with the current owner.
Under this rental agreement, they use 13 Kirkstone as a holiday rental unit, and for that pay the owners £6000 per annum, payable monthly in arrears. Under the agreement, the proprietor is given four weeks of ‘self use’ at no cost.
Seasons Holidays cover the annual Service Charge and the Property Insurance ( but not the Ground Rent nor Business rates ), all running costs of the property itself (repairs, renewals, utilities, cleaning etc ) and all operational costs.
The current Rental Agreement terminates in 2026
When a property is sold on the open market the new owner can let the property privately, use another agent or indeed continue the arrangement with Seasons.
