Manymans Mead is a Grade II listed property, with the oldest part of the house dating back to the mid 15th century. Sutton Veny is a sought after pretty village situated only some 3 miles from the nearby town of Warminster with its mainline railway station and range of shopping facilities. A wonderful community within the village, with an annual bonfire night and the Suttton Veny flower show held one a year attracting many local horticultural enthusiasts.

Also there is easy access to a garage/store in Longbridge Deverill or a post office/general store in Heytesbury.The area has a good selection of independent schools including Warminster, Dauntsey’s, Port Regis and Monkton Combe. Bishops Wordsworth and South Wilts Grammar Schools for boys and girls respectively can be found in Salisbury.

Moving outside there is a thoughtfully landscaped garden to the rear of the property alongside a kitchen garden, south west facing terrace, summer house and a couple of storage sheds. In addition, there is a two storey garage attached to the property, where, as we understand, planning permission was granted in 1990 to convert the double garage into a separate domestic dwelling and erect a new double garage to the rear. These works were started in the early 90’s but never completed, and the purchaser will need to investigate what permissions are now needed if they wish to complete the works.
