The property comprises a most unique 2 bedroom detached period house which is in need of complete overhaul or replacement. Kildare represents an opportunity for a buyer to modernise and extend the house to their tastes and/or offers the potential to build additional dwellings in the garden (subject to planning).

The house total almost 1,000 square feet currently comprises a porch leading into a sitting room. There is second reception room formally used as a study but could double as a bedroom. There is a kitchen which has had its units removed, a utility room, a garden room as well as a downstairs bathroom. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms.

Externally the large 0.2 acre plot is predominantly laid to grass and there is also a work shop. There is mains water and electric with private drainage.

The property is pleasantly situated in the popular and convenient village of West Grimstead which is approximately five miles from the Cathedral City of Salisbury. There are facilities for day to day needs in nearby Alderbury and the A36 provides direct access into Salisbury and the M27 and the south coast conurbations. Salisbury has an excellent range of educational, recreational, leisure and shopping facilities which combine with the twice weekly market in addition to a main line railway station (Waterloo).

Band D

There is mains water, electric and drainage.

Leave Salisbury heading south on the A36 towards Southampton. After approximately 5 miles take the left turning off the dual carriageway signposted to Alderbury and the Grimsteads. At the top of the slip road turn left to West Grimstead and after about 1 mile you will come to a fork in the road at the edge of the village. Take the right fork and after approximately 500 yards turn left onto Chapel Hill. Kildare will be found after a short distance on the left.
