The local train line takes you directly into the province's capital city of Málaga from here and the journey lasts about an hour, whilst the airport is only 20 minutes by car. There is a castle steeped in history and providing great panoramic views over the countryside, whilst the local church has some impressive ancient architecture. Close to the village are the beautiful lakes at El Chorro where you can enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters or camping in the surrounding countryside. The world famous Caminito del Rey (King's Walk) is also nearby and offers magnificent views from the pathway clinging all the way around the majestic mountains.
