the main reception room:
Four large windows help to create a light and airy feel, whilst a dado rail, panelling and the proportions of the room add a certain elegance. Plenty of electrical sockets, TV point, and generous dimensions make this a true family space with room for a living and a dining area. The floor is tiled and the underfloor heating adds a level of modern comfort. Across the broad wooden-floored landing to descend two steps into a
tile-floored studio space. This type of space under the roof is common in the area. Known as a solelhou, these spaces were once used for drying produce and goods and are now great places to catch the sun indoors. Filled with light from both ends and furnished with a large sink, this one is currently used as an artist's studio and gym but has potential for many uses, not least as a handy place for drying laundry in the sun.

Sorèze is a bustling village with several cafes and restaurants, a doctor's surgery, small supermarket and other helpful amenities. If you need to access more services, Revel is only 6 km away and hosts one of the region's most popular weekly markets. Here you'll find a small hospital and a wider range of shops and services.

At just over one hour from Toulouse airport and around 50 minutes from the airport at Carcassonne, the village is well placed for holidaymakers and those wishing to discover the area by bike, on foot or by car.
