This south-west facing property is located in the Armorique National Park, at the end of a dead-end road, next to the forest. It is a very peaceful location, but only a 5 minute drive from the popular lakeside town of Huelgoat and its daily amenities.



The house: The front door opens into a dining room. There is a cosy sitting room with a wood burning stove. From here a door leads to the two bedrooms. A fitted kitchen is accessed from the dining room and a door opens onto the rear garden. The shower room is also located off the dining room. A large cupboard houses the washing machine and electric water heater. From the dining room a connecting door leads to the adjoining gite. Although not currently in use, it could easily be opened up. There is a cellar under the house, as well as a small garage and carport to the side, which are useful for storage. The Gite: The gite is accessed via its own entrance to the side of the building where there is a small terrace to enjoy the sunshine and morning coffee. Guests also have their own garden. On entering the gite there is a spacious and bright lounge, dining room and kitchen. Two double bedrooms and a modern shower room complete the internal layout. This is an ideal additional space for family and friends, especially with the interconnecting door, or it could be used to create an additional income.



Outside: The garden is to the side and rear of the property and overlooks open countryside. It is flat and laid to lawn with some mature shrubs. There is off road parking for 3-4 cars and further parking is available at the end of the driveway.



The location; The property is situated in a very peaceful location in the heart of the countryside. It is the only property on a no through road that leads into the forest and the old mining workings. The forest is the perfect environment for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The cottage itself was originally the miners' canteen building! It is a rural but accessible location. The lakeside town of Huelgoat, with its bustling weekly market, restaurants, bars and daily amenities, is just a 5 minute drive away. Larger towns such as Morlaix, with its TGV links, and Carhaix are 30 minutes away. Brest airport and Roscoff ferry port are less than an hour away, as are the beaches of the north and west coasts.
