Description
Mill End is an 'end of three' cottage set nicely back from the road to allow for off road parking. In addition to the parking area, the current owners have created a car port alongside the cottage. Internally, the cottage offers much character without loss of practicality and includes two reception rooms along with a well appointed kitchen, utility room and cloakroom - a combination of features not readily available in such properties. The first floor is also fortunate in having not only a smartly presented shower room but also an en suite shower room to the master bedroom. Windows are double glazed and oil fired radiator heating installed throughout. Beautifully presented throughout and only recently externally decorated in March, Mill End is a tremendous example of its type and has been lightly lived in and much improved since purchased via Harrison Edge in 2009.
Location
Redlingfield lies a short drive south east of Eye surrounded by traditional Suffolk farmland. This well thought of village is home to a social crowd and typical of so many villages with no apparent facilities, pulls together when needed and where possible. The Village Green has play equipment and plays host to Summer get togethers. The historic church also plays its part and recently a bordering farm to the village has diversified into a popular fitness and health spa centre with activities to appeal to many including at Wash Farm, an indoor swimming pool. Eye, the main town is close by for shopping and schooling as is Debenham, Stradbroke and Framlingham.
Direction
From Eye follow the B1077 through road away from the town centre and having crossed the river bridge take the left (straight on) turn to Redlingfield off the hill. Follow the road for approximately three miles to the village with Mill End and its adjoining neighbours being the first properties seen on the right, just on the turning to Occold.
