Old Heathfield is a historic village located in the High Weald National Landscape in East Sussex, close to Tunbridge Wells. The village dates back to at least the Norman period and is known for its picturesque architecture. The village was once a market town and is home to a number of landmarks, including the Parish Church of All Saints, which dates back to the 13th century, together with a charming, local public house 'The Star Inn' dating back to the 14th century. The surrounding countryside is also popular with walkers and cyclists, with a number of scenic footpaths and bridleways to explore.
The area is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with many delightful and popular villages, including Mayfield, and Waldron. There is also good access to the south coast, with beaches at Eastbourne, Pevensey and Bexhill.
