Old Heathfield is a historic village located in the High Weald National Landscape in East Sussex, close to Tunbridge Wells. The village dates back to at least the Norman period and is known for its picturesque architecture. Old Heathfield has a rich history, with many of its buildings dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. The village was once a market town and is home to a number of landmarks, including the Parish Church of All Saints, which dates back to the 13th century, together with a charming, local public house 'The Star Inn' dating back to the 14th century. The surrounding countryside is also popular with walkers and cyclists, with a number of scenic footpaths and bridleways to explore.

The area is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with many delightful and popular villages, including Mayfield, and Waldron. There is also good access to the south coast, with beaches at Eastbourne, Pevensey and Bexhill.

The market town of Heathfield is reached within approximately one mile, and has excellent local amenities including Waitrose, Sainsburys and Co-Op supermarkets, and many individual shops for everyday needs, including an Italian deli/wine shop, a bakers and a fruit and vegetable shop.

The larger towns of Tunbridge Wells (approximately 14.7 miles), Eastbourne (approximately 17.4 miles) and Lewes (approximately 15.6 miles) offer more comprehensive facilities.
